Referendums in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya provinces will run from Friday to Tuesday
Western countries fear that Russia will show the results on its side and include a large part of Ukraine
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba said that he will take back his territory from Russia
Kyiv, Russia is going to hold a referendum today in four areas occupied by Ukraine, together with its supporting groups. According to the report of the news agency Reuters, Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to include about 15 percent of Ukraine in his country with the help of this referendum. This region is as large as Hungary, which includes Ukraine’s Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya provinces. However, Western countries are calling this move of Russia illegal and unilateral.
Voting will run from Friday to Tuesday
On Tuesday, Russian-established leaders in these regions of Ukraine had announced a referendum, which many countries, including Ukraine, have refused to recognize. At the same time, voting in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya provinces, about 15 of Ukraine’s territory, is going to run from Friday to Tuesday. Western countries fear that Russia will show results on its side and include a large part of Ukraine in its country. Let us tell you that under Putin’s grand plan to rebuild the Soviet Union, Russia has also annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.
Ukraine will liberate its territories
Concerned over Russia’s referendum, Ukraine has reiterated the need to liberate its territories from Russia. Speaking to reporters, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba said that the Russians can do whatever they want, but that will not change anything. He further said that Ukraine will liberate its territories from Russia at any cost. Be aware that Ukraine has intensified attacks with the help of American weapons to liberate its territories from Russia.
