Hand: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that conspiracies have been hatched to defame Gujarat and stop investments. Modi was addressing a rally after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for development works in Bhuj district ahead of the assembly elections in Gujarat later this year.
The Prime Minister said, “There were conspiracies to defame Gujarat in the country and the world. Repeated efforts were made to stop the investments coming into the state, but the state chose new paths of progress. Modi said, “(Year) After the devastating earthquake in Kutch in 2001, I talked about redevelopment of Kutch and we worked hard for it. You are seeing the results today.”
India will be a developed nation by 2047
He said, “There were many people who said that Kutch will not recover from the earthquake, but people have changed the scenario.” “You may see many shortcomings in India right now, but I can clearly see that by 2047, India will be a developed nation,” Modi said.
PM Modi reached Ahmedabad on Saturday on a two-day visit to Gujarat. On Sunday, he did a road show in Bhuj city of Kutch district on the second day of the tour. Thousands of people from Bhuj and surrounding areas gathered on both sides of the road to greet the PM. Modi shook hands and greeted people during the three kilometer long roadshow. The road show in Bhuj city was taken out from Hill Garden area to District Industrial Center.
