West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was addressing a rally in Kolkata on Monday.

Kolkata. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that ousting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from power at the Center in 2024 would be her “last battle”. Addressing a rally here, Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Banerjee said the BJP has to be defeated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Delhi’s fight will be my last to oust the BJP from power at the Centre. I promise to oust BJP from power.

He further said in his address that the BJP has to be defeated at any cost. Banerjee said that saving West Bengal is our first fight. I promise that we will remove BJP from power at the Center in 2024. If you try to scare us, we will respond.

Referring to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s defeat in 1989, despite winning more than 400 seats in 1984, Banerjee said that everyone has to face defeat. He further said that Indira Gandhi was a veteran leader, but she also had to face defeat. The BJP has about 300 MPs, but Bihar has gone from its hands, and some other states will also go from their hands.
