The padyatra will reach Kerala on September 11
Yatra will last for 21 days in Karnataka
New Delhi. Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is starting from today. Before starting the yatra, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will attend a prayer meeting at the memorial of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Sriperumbudur. Along with this, he will participate in a program in Kanyakumari where Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will hand over the national flag to him. Stalin will also be present during the program at the ‘Gandhi Mandapam’ in Kanyakumari, after which Rahul Gandhi along with other Congress leaders will visit the public rally venue from where the yatra will formally begin.
The formal start of the 3,570 km long journey from Kanyakumari to Srinagar will be in the rally. This padyatra will reach Kerala on September 11 and will pass through the state for the next 18 days and reach Karnataka on September 30. The journey will last for 21 days in Karnataka and then move north to other states. The journey will end at Srinagar via Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi in Kerala, Mysore in Karnataka, Nanded in Maharashtra, Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Kota in Rajasthan, Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Ambala in Haryana, Pathankot in Punjab and Jammu.

100 pedestrians from start to finish
According to the Congress, there will be 100 padyatris in this yatra, which will run from beginning to end. He will be ‘Bharat Yatri’. In the states through which this journey is not passing, 100-100 people will be involved in it, these people will be guest travelers. 100-100 passengers will be involved from the states through which the journey will pass. These will be state travelers. At one time 300 pedestrians will be involved in it.
20-25 km distance every day
The party has classified 118 leaders, including Gandhi, as ‘Bharat Yatris’ who will cover the distance from Kanyakumari to Srinagar. They will cover an average distance of 20-25 km everyday. Among the 118 ‘Bharat Yatris’, nine leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, are in the age group of 51-60 years. He told that out of 118 leaders, 20 are aged 25-30; The age of 51 is between 31-40 and the age of 38 is between 41-50. (with language input)
