New Delhi. The Congress is going to hold a nationwide protest against inflation and unemployment today, which will include from senior Congress leaders to common workers. In this episode, from the midnight of Thursday and Friday, Congress workers have started gathering outside the All India Congress Committee (AICC) party headquarters. At the same time, keeping this nationwide demonstration program in mind, Delhi Police has imposed section 144 of CrPC in the entire area of New Delhi district except Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police has said that in view of security, law and order, traffic reasons, protest/dharna/gherao cannot be allowed in the area of New Delhi district on August 5.
In fact, the Congress said on Thursday that it will hold a nationwide protest on Friday against inflation and unemployment, under which Congress Working Committee (CWC) members and senior party leaders have a plan to ‘gherao’ the Prime Minister’s residence. According to the main opposition party, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members of the Congress will march from the Parliament House to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said permission has been sought for the march to Rashtrapati Bhavan and it is expected that more than 80 party MPs will be allowed to go there peacefully. The party also decided that from the panchayat to the district level, the representatives of the Congress would protest at the district headquarters and give their arrest.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday accused the opposition party of “maligning and intimidating” the ED as well as spreading “chaos” in the country, amid massive protests by the Congress against the action being taken by the ED against its leaders. ‘ accused of.
