Chandauli. In the case of gang-rape of a minor, the Special Court, POCSO, while hearing the hearing, has sentenced two accused to 22-22 years of rigorous imprisonment. Along with this, an additional fine of 25 -25 thousand rupees has also been punished. In the event of non-payment of fine, orders have been given to extend the sentence of both by one year.
In fact, in the case of 2016 in Madhuban village of Sadar Kotwali, neighbors took a minor girl sleeping in the courtyard to the field. The incident of gang rape was carried out with her. In which the police arrested both the accused Bhokharu and Panna and sent them to jail. After which the decision came out for a long hearing.
During this, the matter was prevalent during the hearing after all the appearances and witnesses. Considering the arguments of the public prosecutor’s statement as logical, the court has given this decision, finding it to be correct and effective discussion on the basis of evidence.
In this regard, Special Advocate POCSO Shamsher Singh told that after hearing for 6 years, Special Judge POCSO on Thursday found both the accused guilty in this case and while pronouncing the sentence, both the accused were sentenced to 22-22 years of rigorous imprisonment. Along with this, a fine of 25-25 thousand has also been imposed on both of them. After the sentencing, the victim’s family called it a victory of justice.
