CBI DLA Jitendra Kumar commits suicide
Was posted in Delhi, the reason given in the suicide note
This step was taken due to mental stress and illness

New Delhi. Director of Prosecution (DLA) of CBI’s ACB branch Jitendra Kumar (48) committed suicide. He was transferred to Delhi only two years ago, before that he was posted in Chandigarh. I was a resident of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. He has written in the suicide note that he was suffering from mental stress and illness and has taken this step in despair. He has blamed the illness for his suicide.

In fact, the ACB branch in the CBI had filed an FIR in the Liquor Policy scam. ACB itself is probing that case. In the same branch, Jitendra Kumar, who was posted as DLA ie Deputy Legal Advisor, was made the Sub Director of Prosecution. Who used to give legal advice to ACB. DLAs are lawyers by profession who come under the Director of Prosecution Department of CBI.
