Jammu. On reaching Jammu, Ghulam Nabi Azad, who had left the Congress, said that due to some circumstances and some unlucky, he had to leave the Congress. This is a new beginning, a new voice. After leaving the party, former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has arrived at Sainik Farms in Jammu to address his first public meeting. On Rahul Gandhi’s Halla Bol rally, Azad said, ‘Many congratulations to Rahul. He remembered inflation and employment after 8 years. The Congress, however, termed former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Azad’s public statements against the party leadership as a “distraction tactic” launched at the behest of the ruling BJP.
Ghulam Nabi Azad said that from 2005 to 2008, ‘I was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. But some companions had left in the middle. So my agenda could not be fulfilled at that time. We had an agenda to make a happy Jammu and Kashmir. Those who were with me in the cabinet at that time, all the experienced and capable people, MSAs and ministers, all of them should come with us and together we will complete that unfinished agenda.
Azad said that the dream of prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir which had taken off had reached halfway, but that happiness was not liked by some people. I. because they thought it would become so popular that we would not get votes. So he left in the middle. The people who made me walk have walked themselves today.
Ghulam Nabi Azad’s scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi, said: Trying to impose a non-serious person on Congress
Indicating his future political plan, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the new party that will be formed will be national only. But we are in no hurry for national, it will start from Jammu and Kashmir. Elections can happen in Jammu and Kashmir at any time. While exposing the plight of the Congress, Azad said that ‘we are seeing the condition of the Congress. From last 8 years we are looking all over the country. 49 assembly elections were held, in which 39 Congress lost. Now only 2 states have Congress. Azad said that we thought that we would build our house. In which all will keep bricks, no one will keep sand. Because at the national level sand is only connecting, but sand alone does not build houses.
