Symptoms of increased bad cholesterol
Dr. Lalit Kaushik says that symptoms are not visible in the beginning when the level of bad cholesterol is high, but when its level increases more then people get tested when there is a problem. Increased belly fat, darkening of the skin and difficulty in breathing are common symptoms of high cholesterol. When its levels reach critical levels, stroke and heart attack can occur. You can also find out the cholesterol level by the waste to hip ratio. If this ratio is less than 0.85, then the chances of increasing cholesterol are very less. Apart from this, a ratio greater than 0.95 can be a sign of increased cholesterol. From time to time all people should get checked up.
