Real Sociedad played out a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid

Barcelona. Barcelona defeated Sevilla 3–0 in Spanish league football with goals scored by Robert Lewandowski, Rafinha and Jules Coundé. Lewandowski has scored five goals in four matches since moving to Barcelona from Bayern Munich, while Rafinha, who previously played for Leeds, was Barcelona’s first goal.

Barcelona are now in second place on the points table, two points behind Real Madrid. Madrid beat Real Betis 2-1. Vinicius Junior and Rodrigo scored for Madrid. In another match, Real Sociedad played out a 1–1 draw with Atlético Madrid.

On the other hand, two goals from in-form Kylian Mbappe helped Paris Saint-Germain beat Nantes 3-0 to retain the top spot in the French Football League. PSG has to play Juventus in the Champions League match next week.

Unbeatable PSG has scored 24 goals so far with five wins in six league matches. The French champions, however, suffered a setback when their Portuguese midfielder Vitinha was injured during the match. In another match, Marseille defeated Auxerre 2-0.
