Kohli’s new style in the field after the break
Still Indian cricketer is nervous about form
Wasim Jaffer told the cause of concern
New Delhi, Virat Kohli, who returned to the field after the break, is seen in good rhythm. However, the country’s former cricketer Wasim Jaffer is still worried about his form. He believes that the flow we used to see Kohli in earlier. He still doesn’t look that way. Apart from this, the former cricketer has also questioned his style of playing in the middle overs.
Wasim Jaffer said during a special conversation on ESPN Cricinfo that, he is still worried about Kohli’s form. The level at which we have seen Kohli playing cricket in the field, he is not seen in that flow at the moment. If Kohli is batting in the field, then he needs a quick batsman with him who can keep the run average right. Otherwise, the team may have to face a lot of problems later.

He further said, if Suryakumar Yadav had not scored fast runs in the middle overs against Hong Kong, then the Indian team could hardly have scored 150 to 160 runs. In such a situation, Team India could be in trouble. Due to this fine innings of Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian team was able to win the match against Hong Kong and managed to make it the first place in the Super Four.
Let us tell you that Kohli has been running in poor form for a long time. However, after the break, he has got a different look in the field. He played a belligerent innings of 35 runs in the first 34 balls against Pakistan. After this he scored an unbeaten 59 in 44 balls against Hong Kong. But in the meantime his strike rate was very slow.
