Dubai. All the fans were getting worried about the form of Virat Kohli before the Asia Cup. But the former captain scored the second consecutive half-century in the T20 tournament (Asia Cup 2022). Batting first against Pakistan (IND vs PAK), India scored 181 runs for 7 wickets on the basis of his brilliant innings. This is India’s second highest score against Pakistan in T20 Internationals. Earlier in 2012, he had scored the highest score of 192 runs for 5 wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul played a good innings. Due to this the team was able to get off to a good start.

After the fall of 3 wickets for 91 runs, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant took the score beyond 120 runs. Pant scored 14 runs off 12 balls and was dismissed for hitting a reverse sweep off Shadab. The 16th over was bowled by leg spinner Shadab Khan. He conceded just 5 runs. Fast bowler Haris Rauf bowled the 17th over. Hooda hit a four in the over and 8 runs were scored. Hasnain bowled the 18th over. Hooda hit a four and Kohli hit a six and a total of 16 runs were scored. Meanwhile, Kohli completed his half-century off 36 balls. Hits 4 fours and a six. Naseem Shah came to bowl the 19th over and gave only 7 runs. Hooda was dismissed after scoring 16 runs off 14 balls. In the 20th over, Kohli was run out after scoring 60 off 44 balls. Bhuvneshwar 0 and Ravi Bishnoi remained unbeaten on 8 runs. Haris Rauf gave away 9 runs in the last over.
