When the game was stopped due to bad light, India A took 5 wickets for 156 runs in 61 overs of the visiting team (IND A vs NZ A 1st Unofficial Test). For the first time representing any team of India (India Under-19, India Under-23, India-A and senior team), the right-arm medium pacer took one wicket each in all his three spells. He took 3 wickets for 34 runs in 13 overs with the help of 4 maidens.
Two left-arm fast bowlers included in the Indian team, Yash Dayal (13-2-35-1) and Arjan Nagwaswala (13-2-34-1) also got one wicket each.
