New Delhi. Indian team’s young right arm leg spinner Rahul Chahar is celebrating his 23rd birthday today. Chahar was born on this day on August 4, 1999 in Bharatpur city of Rajasthan. Chahar made his first knock from the T20 format for Team India. He had a mixed performance in the debut match. He made his debut in the year 2019 against West Indies in Providence. In this match, he managed to get a breakthrough while bowling three overs. Chahar got success in the debut match as Captain Carlos Brathwaite.
Talking about this match, the Indian team defeated the Caribbean team by seven wickets with five balls to spare. Deepak Chahar, brother of Rahul Chahar, was the hero of the match. In fact, he bowled three overs in this match for the team, spending only four runs and got the maximum three successes.
Since the debut match, Chahar has played six T20 matches for the Indian team. During this, he has achieved seven successes in six innings at an average of 23.9. His best bowling performance in T20 cricket is three wickets for 15 runs.

Chahar has played one ODI match in addition to T20 International cricket for the Indian team. He took the most three wickets while debuting against Sri Lanka in Colombo in the year 2021. In this match, he spent 54 runs bowling 10 overs for the team. In the debut match, Chahar made Avishka Fernando, Captain Dasun Shanaka and Chamika Karunaratne his prey.
Rahul Chahar has been especially seen in the country’s prestigious tournament IPL. He has appeared for many teams in this league. Chahar has played 55 matches in the IPL, taking 57 wickets in 54 innings at an average of 25.9. His best bowling performance in IPL is four wickets for 27 runs.
