Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten double century as West Zone scored 376 for three in the second innings against South Zone on the third day of the five-day match of the Duleep Trophy final on Friday. did it. Earlier, South Zone started the day with 318 runs for seven wickets but with only nine runs in it, the entire innings of the team was reduced.

Jaiswal makes a positive start
Jaiswal, who scored just one run in the first innings, started on a positive note in the second innings with quick runs against fast bowlers Basil Thampi and CV Stephen. He shared a 110-run partnership for the first wicket with Priyank Panchal (40) at the rate of five runs per over.

West Zone captain Hanuma Vihari delayed the introduction of Sai Kishore (2 for 100), who was in fine form, into the attack. West Zone can win on the basis of lead
Jaiswal and Iyer then took advantage of the easier batting conditions to score runs against the spinners. Iyer hit four fours and two sixes in his 113-ball innings. West Zone will try to declare the innings by batting in one more session later in the day once conditions become easier for batting so that its bowlers have five sessions to take 10 wickets for South Zone.
